Temporary Solutions, Inc. is currently working with a client that supplies funds for services and programs in our local area. We are searching for an Administrative Assistant who has proficient data entry skills, along with advanced typing skills. This position will be specifically working on a filing project and setting up digital filing system.

Administrative Assistant Responsibility:

  • Scan existing hard copy files of septic systems and wells to create digital files to support extended storage and to support sharing of files and virtual access
  • File the electronic files on the L drive or other location as deemed appropriate by Leadership
  • Label files to denote the projected date of destruction
  • Scan files in order of the files in the filing cabinet
  • Files need to be available in case we receive a FOIA request for a property

Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of college coursework from an accredited college or university; or Experience working with community-based programs or projects
  • Writing skills commiserate of elements of business writing, includes proper use of English, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, and grammar needed to compose and edit documents and report
  • Intermediate knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Outlook, Microsoft office suite (word, excel, PowerPoint), mail merges, managing electronic and hard copy files and record systems
