Employment Enterprises, Inc. is currently working with one of the world’s largest scientific organizations that is a leader in providing academic and career resources, industry news, and scientific publications We are searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms, implementing best practices, and managing performance reports.
Digital Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns (currently focused on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with potential for additional platforms) and search engine marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and program management staff across the organization to develop high-performing paid social media content, including copywriting, editing, and optimizing image and video content.
  • Build, develop and refine target audiences within social platforms.
  • Create and manage pay-per-click campaigns including the creation of search ads, A/B tests, and campaign management of Google and/or Microsoft Ads accounts.
  • Monitor campaign budgets and adjust/optimize paid content spending as needed based on priorities, performance, and other campaign metrics.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Social Media Manager, monitor comments and feedback from paid and organic social media content and escalate or engage where appropriate.
  • Work closely with marketing and web colleagues to deploy tracking codes, pixels, and other analytics tools; ensure conversions and related engagement data are being properly captured.
  • Track, collect data, and report on social media and search engine KPIs. Regularly communicate metrics to marketing, communications, and program management partners.
  • Develop relationships with social media platform representatives and related vendors.
  • Stay informed of best practices and trends in social media and share with relevant colleagues.
  • Other administrative marketing and communications duties as assigned.
Digital Marketing Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Project management experience preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of current and emerging digital/social media marketing practices and principles.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to work within a team environment, and attention to detail required.
  • Must be proficient in digital and social media advertising platforms, including Google Adwords, Meta, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Must have experience with social media management tools (Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.).
  • Must have relevant computer skills including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools a plus.
