We offer HR outsourcing, payrolling services, and recruitment services, among other programs, through our subsidiaries. We are currently hiring a Client Services Specialist to join our Checks and Balances (C&B) team. You will provide customer service/human resources support to clients and field employees of our C&B employer of record solution.
Client Services Specialist Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of all C&B client contracts, system routines, employee benefits, internal processing procedures, and human resources law as it pertains to employer requirements, payroll, and ongoing employee relations.
- Assist newly hired employees with electronic onboarding, post-hire paperwork, and input into the HRIS system.
- Respond to and assist with HR issues regarding any federal, state, and EE Inc. policies, procedures, or the law(s) as it pertains to clients and employees
- Answer, document, and research answers to inquiries from prospective and active clients and employees regarding questions and/or handle problems regarding any contract question, payroll need, or human resource question.
- Serve as Account Manager and dedicated Representative for larger accounts as assigned.
- Maintain regular communications with the client.
- Collect and organize information and make recommendations to management on the resolution of employee and client relation issues.
- Attempt to resolve all inquiries while the caller is on the line. Conduct research necessary to resolve client/employee problems.
- Process employee/client changes as needed and document all activities.
- Organize employee system data in preparation for payroll processing.
- Provide assistance to other team members regarding any HR, payroll, or training issues.
- Provide and assist management with departmental and client reporting.
- Provide management with regular feedback on client and employee needs and levels of satisfaction with our program(s).
- Handle special employee and client projects as assigned.
- Represent EE Inc. at personnel-related hearings and investigations (i.e. unemployment hearings).
- Prepare separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine the reasons behind separations.
- Maintain knowledge of benefit programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, retirement plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
- Provide new hire and client orientations and/or employee benefit presentations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with employee and client data.
Client Services Specialist Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and three years of administrative experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Occasional Local travel may be required based on business needs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with senior management effectively
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
