Employment Enterprises, Inc. is currently working with one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing hospitality enterprises. We are searching for a Manager Hotel Openings and Transitions Americas. You will facilitate the hotel opening process for new construction, conversion hotels, and internal brand to brand changes for all brands, as well as the exit process for hotels that transition out of our system. Manager Hotel Openings and Transitions Americas Responsibilities:
Requires strong presentation skills as the individual will be required to present in front of large groups which include management company representatives, ownership and hotel staff.
Facilitates all hotel opening critical & brand recommended task items through the use of the on-line hotel opening roadmap and supporting tools & documents.
Directs the initialization of new hotels into Sales Worldwide, Brand Marketing, Global Distribution Management, Reservations Worldwide, Global Distribution Systems, Online Travel Agencies, and Honors.
Create impromptu new solutions for new challenges such as lack of support at the hotel level or special requests for technology, service levels, or product anomalies.
Acts as liaison with Revenue Management Support for all hotels and ensures that once initial hotel is built in GDS, PIM, CRS and on brand website that information is accurate and content is fully enhanced and sellable.
Position will be required to contribute to team procedures and programs to support opening process improvements and must effectively communicate with all internal and external constituencies.
Manager Hotel Openings and Transitions Americas Qualifications:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
Five (5) years of relevant work experience
Two (2) years of branded hotel experience
Three (3) years of Management experience
Individual must show flexibility and be able to work in unique situations such as expedited openings where they must complete all critical opening tasks accurately with a short time frame.
Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): 50% or more travel time, domestically and internationally
Excellent time management & organization skills with the ability to handle 30+ openings at once.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Superior project management skills with ability to work independently, keep hotel management team on task, and facilitate collaboration.
Experience delivering first-rate customer service; ability to manage relationships and interface with all levels of management, including senior management.
