Employment Enterprises, Inc. is supporting a reputable dry utility consulting firm that provides professional and innovative services to developers, homebuilders, municipalities, and general contractors across the DMV. Our client’s team of experienced project managers utilizes their knowledge of the utility process and relationships with each utility to ensure your project is completed on time and within budget.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Manage the daily activities of all utilities on assigned projects (feasibility through construction)
Provide outstanding customer service while managing both the client’s and utility’s expectations.
Actively pursue and obtain new customers.
Complete necessary internal and external customer reports
Develop project schedule and budget.
Participate in presentations to the client.
Develop task list for each level of personnel on the project.
Prepare budgets and schedules for each major element of work and task items.
Answer questions and give daily mentorship to project staff.
Review work for accuracy and quality
Monitor project work toward budget and schedule goals.
Attending weekly project manager meetings and reporting on general status of the projects.
Adhere to firm's established Project Management principles.
Enforce project QA/QC standards.
Contribute to the growing success of the company by being a positive member of the team.
Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related experience.
Prior experience managing a variety construction, utility, or civil engineering projects.
Proven project management skills, with understanding of scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and deliverable management.
Proficient computer skills, MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project; Adobe.
CAD experience preferred.
Versatility, flexibility, and being able to work in a fast pace environment with changing priorities.
Demonstrated progressive skills in job knowledge, communication, planning, collaboration, decision making, judgement and problem solving.
