Employment Enterprises Inc. is supporting one of the leading providers of transportation services in the DC Metropolitan area. We are searching for a skilled and strategic Copywrite Editor to craft compelling content across a wide range of platforms. This position is onsite in Washington, DC and pays $55 per hour.
Copywriter Editor Responsibilities:
Create clear, concise, and persuasive written content for: Websites, landing pages; Blogs and articles; Social media posts and campaigns; Email newsletters and marketing messages; Printed and digital marketing materials
Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, tone, and accuracy
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and style guidelines
Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to support business goals
Conduct research on industry trends, audience needs, and competitors to generate relevant content
Brainstorm ideas for content campaigns, promotions, and engagement initiatives
Ensure consistency and quality across all written deliverables
Copywriter Editor Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in copywriting, writing, or editorial roles
Preferred background in an advertising agency or in-house creative/content team
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Strong understanding of digital content strategies and marketing best practices
Ability to adapt writing style to various tones and audiences
Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
SEO writing experience preferred
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) preferred
Experience with marketing analytics tools preferred
