Employment Enterprises, Inc. is supporting one of the premier higher educational systems in Northern Virginia. We are searching for a Recruiter to connect skilled trades professionals with career opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge, recruitment software, and strong interpersonal skills to source, evaluate, and place candidates in HVAC, plumbing, and related technical fields. This position is hybrid in Fairfax, Virginia and pays $30 to $35 per hour.
Recruiter Responsibilities:
Connect talented professionals with exciting career opportunities in skilled trades industries such as HVAC and plumbing.
Source and attract candidates through various channels.
Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure a good match for client needs.
Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software to streamline hiring processes.
Stay informed about industry-specific certifications, licensing, and labor laws related to skilled trades.
Collaborate with team members and adapt to changing recruitment requirements.
Recruiter Qualifications:
Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in skilled trades or technical fields.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and related trades industries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in human resources or related fields is a plus.
At least 2 years of recruiting experience in skilled trades or technical sectors.
Willingness to learn about industry-specific requirements and certifications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing recruitment needs and deadlines.
