Employment Enterprises, Inc is supporting a locally owned and operated business specializing in glass manufacturing and distribution. With a team of approximately 20 employees working across office and warehouse functions, the company is committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. We are seeking an Accounting Administrator onsite in Manassas, VA. The position offers a pay rate of $31.25 per hour. The role requires 10+ years of experience in managing office operations and financial records, combining organizational, managerial, and accounting skills.

Accounting Administrator Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a productive work environment.
  • Supervise administrative staff, including counter sales and office-based personnel.
  • Assist with human resources activities such as recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees.
  • Plan and organize office events, meetings, and conferences to support company initiatives.
  • Manage communication with vendors, service providers, and landlords to address office-related matters.
  • Maintain and oversee the physical office space, ensuring functionality and proper maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and update office policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Oversee financial transactions, including bank deposits, accounts payable and receivable, and invoice processing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements such as profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and support payroll processing for timely employee payments.
  • Handle tax payments including sales, payroll, and income taxes.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures to meet financial goals.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, financial advisors, and government agencies for audits and tax filings.
Accounting Administrator Qualifications 
  • Proven experience as an office manager, bookkeeper, or in a similar dual-role position.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience managing staff and coordinating office and financial operations.
  • Educational background with an undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Certified Bookkeeper designation is a plus.
