Employment Enterprises, Inc is supporting a client that specializes in providing high-quality gas fireplace products and accessories designed to enhance home comfort and ambiance. We are seeking a Permit Coordinator to join their team onsite in Chantilly, VA. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $24.50. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of service industry experience, particularly in HVAC, construction, home improvement stores, or property management. This role involves supporting permit applications, administrative tasks, and assisting clients and technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Permit Coordinator Responsibilities
Pull, submit, and manage county permit applications for installations and inspections.
Support high-volume administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, dispatch, and coordination with service technicians.
Assist the sales team as needed with project support and customer communication.
Learn basic fireplace, HVAC, and home improvement systems to provide confident support to clients and technicians.
Permit Coordinator Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of service industry experience (e.g., plumbing, heating, maintenance).
Experience working in HVAC, construction, home improvement stores, or property management offices.
Proficiency with online portals and software.
Prior experience with permit acquisition and job scheduling.
Strong administrative and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and follow-up habits.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking directives and working independently.
