Sr. Financial Compliance Analyst Information Technology

Employment Enterprises Inc. is supporting one of the leading providers of transportation services in the DC Metropolitan area. We are searching for a Sr. Financial Compliance Analyst to research, locate, document and organize missing contracts and other financial documents pertinent to the Compliance Reporting and Analysis department. This is an onsite position in Alexandria, Virginia and pays $42.09 per hour.
Perform research to locate missing contracts and financial documents.
Review, perform necessary analysis and document findings.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders on findings and compliance to standards.
Perform necessary reporting – summarization of findings and other pertinent documentation.
Conduct thorough searches for missing contracts within internal systems, Intranet/archives.
Review historical records, emails, and shared drives to locate relevant documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams to track down and verify contract details.
Prepare Life to Date (LTD) balance confirmations for projects to ensure accurate tracking of financial performance and project status.
Verify and track payments for past projects using job numbers to ensure proper billing and reconciliation.
Compile and maintain an organized record of located contracts.
Ensure all documents adhere to organizational standards and compliance guidelines.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify potential sources of missing contracts.
Provide regular updates on progress and escalate challenges promptly.
Collaborate with the CRA team to ensure alignment with broader project objectives.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and any gaps in documentation.
Recommend improvements to the contract tracking process.
Sr. Financial Compliance Analyst Qualifications:
Experience with conducting research from a variety of different sources (emails, shared drives, systems, filings, etc.), performing analysis and summarizing findings.
Experience documenting findings, following documentation procedures and templates.
Preferable experience with PeopleSoft Finance applications
Preferable working knowledge and experience with all areas within accounting.
Four plus years of progressively responsible experience in financial or accounting areas performing analysis, loading entries, performing reconciliations.
Familiarity with document management systems and intranet search tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Knowledge of contract management systems (preferred).
Strong ability to analyze data, locate relevant documents, and identify patterns.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with contract management or research projects in a corporate environment.
Prior experience in a CRA or legal support role is a plus.
