Our client is a financial enterprise that has a special mission to make housing accessible and affordable for Americans across the country. The Business Operations Analyst will support various operational and technical tasks to enhance quality control processes and ensure smooth collaboration across teams. This is a Full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, offering a $35.00-$40.00 hourly pay rate.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the creation and updating of Quality Control documentation, including job aids, tools, and procedures
- Efficiently manage and maintain SharePoint sites for various teams within Quality Control
- Work on issues of diverse scope requiring evaluation of data and current business trends
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders, including scheduling, creating agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and outlining action items
- Follow up to ensure execution of next steps and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with strong mortgage, underwriting, and credit risk knowledge
- Ability to work independently and understand how systems and data interact
- Technical skills including SharePoint and project management experience
- Strong written communication skills and process mapping experience
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Experience interacting with management and stakeholders in the financial industry preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
