Our client is a local government agency dedicated to providing inclusive, innovative, and high-quality public services to its residents. The Bilingual Spanish Intake Specialist will interview clients regarding insurance matters, review supporting documentation, and determine client payment responsibilities. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with clients regarding insurance information.
• Review supporting documentation to determine client payment obligations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and run eligibility checks for clients.
• Maintain accurate records using Excel and Word.
• Work efficiently as a self-starter and demonstrate compassion in client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Medical billing experience required.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills.
• Prior experience reviewing insurance documents and eligibility is preferred.
