Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Account Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing invoice processing, ensuring accuracy in financial data entry, and supporting accounts payable functions to facilitate timely and accurate financial operations. This is a Full-time, Contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $27.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Create payment invoices in financial systems such as Workday.
- Review and validate supporting documentation for accounts payable processing.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reports.
- Support general ledger accounting and reporting practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial services, accounts payable, or financial analysis.
- College degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of financial principles, GAAP, and general ledger systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail.
