Our client is a leading organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. The Senior UX Researcher will lead user research to improve educational e-learning platforms and programs, helping shape impactful learning experiences. This is a full-time, contract position, paying $50–$55 per hour. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Develop research strategies and plans in partnership with product, design, curriculum, and field teams to identify research needs and define objectives.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and classroom observations.
- Create research materials such as discussion guides, test scripts, and surveys.
- Manage participant recruitment and maintain a user panel for ongoing research.
- Analyze research findings to identify patterns, user needs, and pain points, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Produce research reports, journey maps, and insight summaries.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops for shared understanding and alignment.
- Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of product pilots, integrating data to influence product lifecycle decisions.
- Collaborate with field teams to consolidate user feedback, identify systemic issues, and recommend process improvements, including leveraging AI for efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in UX research, design, engagement strategy, education project management, or business analysis.
- BA or MA in a human-behavior-related field such as UX Research, HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Education, or Business Analysis.
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and organization.
- Experience in leading research planning and execution, moderating user sessions, and delivering clear insights.
- Proficiency with tools such as FigJam, Mural, Miro, ClickUp, Jira, or user research platforms like Userlytics or UserTesting.com.
- Familiarity with learning analytics, mobile-first digital experiences, agile development, and personalization.
