Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Employee Health and Wellness Specialist will oversee employee health programs and promote wellness initiatives to support staff well-being. This is a full-time, contract position based in Hyattsville, MD, paying $20.67 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs to enhance staff well-being
  • Coordinate wellness activities and resources to encourage healthy lifestyle choices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote health initiatives and ensure program effectiveness
  • Maintain confidential health and wellness records in accordance with company policies and regulations
  • Support communication efforts related to employee health and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in clerical, operations, or administrative roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • PowerPoint experience and medical office knowledge are a plus
  • Onsite presence required at Hyattsville, MD
