Our client is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Administrative Assistant will serve as a key support role, managing essential administrative functions and supporting team operations.

This is a remote position in the United States, paying $22–$31 per hour. This is a part-time, contract position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks for the team
  • Organize meetings and coordinate communication among departments
  • Maintain and update relevant documentation and records
  • Create and distribute reports reflecting operational activities
  • Provide support for special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (desired)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prior administrative experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with office software and communication tools
