Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Project Manager will oversee stakeholder engagement and risk management for various projects aligned with departmental goals. This is an onsite, full-time contract position based in Washington, DC, offering $46.77 per hour. 

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder communication, risk assessment, and mitigation for a broad range of projects
• Monitor project progress and coordinate problem solving to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Lead deployment and implementation of enterprise-level websites
• Analyze business problems and coordinate improvements across large-scale initiatives
• Develop and manage complex, high-profile projects and programs

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience analyzing business problems and coordinating improvement projects in large organizations
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with deployment and implementation of enterprise-level websites
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred
