Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist will engage with customers to register them for reduced fare programs and provide excellent service while maintaining data integrity.

This is a part-time position based in Hyattsville, MD, paying $18.70 per hour. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assist with registration for reduced fare programs
• Accurately input and maintain customer data in company systems
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
• Provide high-quality customer service while ensuring data confidentiality
• Proof work to ensure accuracy of information
• Work at various assigned events and locations throughout the DC, MD, and Northern VA regions, which could be indoors or outdoors depending on the event's requirements

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and another language (preferably Spanish)
• Experience in customer service or community engagement preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and outdoor/indoor environments
• Technical proficiency with data entry and management systems
• Reliable transportation to various event locations
