Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Sr. Project Manager will oversee planning, implementation, and completion of complex multi-discipline projects, including data analysis, report preparation, and records maintenance, to improve departmental efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

This is a full-time position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $55.00 per hour. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and monitor project schedules using project management tools.
• Manage budgets and oversee contract activities throughout all project phases.
• Prepare reports and perform data analysis to support project progress and decision-making.
• Maintain comprehensive records of project activities and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management within a corporate or transit environment.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with contract management, schedule coordination, and budget oversight.
• Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis.
