Our client is a trusted utility and energy provider delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions to homes and businesses. The Customer Service Representative will support the call center operations, providing effective customer service and handling inquiries with a focus on quality and performance.

This is a onsite, contract position in Port Huron, Michigan, paying $18–$20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Respond timely to customer calls and provide accurate information about products, programs, and coverage.
• Process customer requests following established policies and procedures.
• Conduct research to resolve customer questions and issues.
• Remind customers about special programs and explain related costs.
• Participate in company training and meet performance and quality metrics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential customer records.
• Support team efforts to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1+ years of customer service-related work experience.
• Excellent written, oral, and listening skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive data.
• Proficiency in personal computer applications.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• US Citizenship required.
