Our client is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Revenue Marketing Manager will lead revenue marketing and product positioning for its consumer-facing Career Resources products.

This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC, paying $100,000–$112,000 per year. This is a direct hire position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to drive revenue for products.
  • Create marketing campaigns to promote booth, advertising, and sponsorship revenue at expos.
  • Coordinate efforts with meetings, events, and web teams to optimize product discoverability and engagement.
  • Assist in event marketing activities, including tradeshows and media partnerships.
  • Provide onsite support during conferences.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align materials with sales efforts.
  • Build systems to analyze ecommerce behavior and revenue performance.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics; optimize strategies for demand generation and conversion.
  • Conduct experiments to identify demand drivers.
  • Communicate product performance analysis to stakeholders.
  • Manage social media campaigns to increase site traffic and conversions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with ecommerce experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or relevant field
  • Knowledge of ecommerce best practices
  • Ability to operationalize marketing strategies and analyze audience data
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Hubspot, Marketo) is a plus
  • Experience with ecommerce technology (Adobe Commerce, LMS systems, or job board functionality) is a plus
