Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The UX Product Designer will develop intuitive web applications and enterprise tools to enhance client efficiency through end-to-end product design.

This is a full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $53.00–$60.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, creating interaction flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape scalable, consistent, and accessible user experiences.
• Incorporate accessibility standards into design specs and review cycles.
• Provide design guidance considering dependencies and enterprise integration.
• Conduct usability reviews, rapid iterations, and maintain design documentation.
• Contribute to the refinement of the Design System and advocate for UX best practices.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of Product Design experience, preferably in fintech environments.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Justinmind, or similar.
• Knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with developers and product teams, with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with LLM/Generative AI tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design enterprise applications with a focus on information density and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to articulate user needs.
