Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The ScrumMaster Senior will be responsible for working directly with a team across the company implementing the Agile Methodology and facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies.

This is an onsite position in McLean, VA, paying $60–$70 per hour. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team capable of delivering work within time-boxed iterations
• Conduct training for teams on the Agile methodology, processes, and controls
• Ensure project adherence to Agile project controls and practices
• Remove team impediments and facilitate Agile ceremonies
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile practices and team dynamics

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in software delivery or related IT fields
• Prior experience as a Scrum Master, certified (e.g., CSM or PMI-ACP) preferred
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and IBM's Disciplined Agile Delivery
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with Jira or similar tools is a plus
