Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Senior Business Analyst will lead data analysis, support risk management initiatives, and develop comprehensive reports to assist leadership decision-making.
This is a full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $50.00 per hour. It is a contract role with an expected duration until June 30, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support third-party risk management programs and enterprise security initiatives
- Conduct data analysis and aggregate enterprise data to identify operational, financial, legal, reputational, and lifecycle risks
- Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and metrics to communicate insights to leadership
- Assist in the implementation and management of risk assessment processes, including reviewing assessments and tracking vulnerabilities
- Support the maintenance and improvement of data management platforms supporting EOCTP and VIM programs
- Facilitate meetings and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
- Create documentation, guidance, procedures, job aids, PowerPoint decks, and reporting templates
- Stay informed on industry trends related to third-party risk management and cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Security, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in risk management or third-party risk management, preferably within financial services
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of risk assessment frameworks, standards, and methodologies
- Experience with third-party risk assessment, remediation, and monitoring
- Familiarity with cybersecurity incident management and enterprise risk regulations
- Interest in third-party risk management
