Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with glass and glazing experience to oversee construction projects from start to finish. This is a Full-time, direct hire opportunity based in Lorton, VA, with a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with GCs, engineers, architects, etc., to determine project specifications
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Communicate and problem solve with internal and external clients via email, phone, and in person
• Serve as liaison between the company and external vendors, customers, and clients
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budget
• Plan construction operations and schedule phases to ensure deadlines are met, including maintaining meetings
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to address inadequacies
• Hire subcontractors and staff, and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other team members, providing guidance as needed
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports on timeline and budget
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report issues

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field preferred
• 3–5 years proven experience as a construction project manager
• Knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
• Familiarity with MS Office and construction/project management software (ProCore preferred)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Leadership qualities and ability to work in a team environment
