This role supports the Checks and Balances team by providing customer service and human resources support to both clients and field employees, ensuring a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective onboarding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of all client contracts, system routines, employee benefits, and internal processing procedures as they relate to employment laws, payroll, and human resources.
- Assist newly hired employees with electronic onboarding, post hire paperwork, and input into HRIS systems.
- Respond to HR issues regarding federal, state, and company policies, procedures, or laws affecting clients and employees.
- Answer, document, and research inquiries from prospective and active clients and employees regarding contracts, payroll, or HR questions.
- Serve as Account Manager and dedicated Representative for larger accounts.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and organize information for payroll and reporting.
- Provide assistance on HR, payroll, or training issues to team members.
- Handle special projects, represent the company at hearings, and prepare documentation for separations and exit interviews.
- Maintain knowledge of benefit programs and provide orientation and benefit presentations to new hires.
Qualifications:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent, three years of administrative experience.
- Preferred: Associate degree and three years of related experience.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
