Our client is a leading nonprofit organization within the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Marketing Contractor supports the marketing, logistics, and production of webinars, expo partnerships, and other virtual events and lead generation products.

This is a remote position in the United States, paying $28–$34 per hour. This is a full-time, contract position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary client-facing lead for kickoff, production, platform setup, training, and day-of execution for webinars and virtual events.
  • Build required assets such as emails, landing pages, registration forms, and banner ads using HTML and marketing automation tools.
  • Manage logistics, vendor coordination, and client communication.
  • Support sales and revenue marketing teams with digital advertising, social promotion, and content uploads.
  • Develop wrap-up reports and monitor campaign performance.
  • Coordinate expo partnership campaigns, including pre-event marketing, onsite branding, lead capture, and post-event reports.
  • Support digital and revenue marketing efforts by maintaining online media kits, uploading content, and managing newsletter campaigns.
  • Generate performance reports for sponsors and internal teams using webinar dashboards and basic Excel skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns and events.
  • Travel approximately 4–5 times per year for conferences and expos.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end webinar or event production.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua preferred, HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot acceptable).
  • Basic HTML & CSS skills (template editing, images).
  • Experience with webinar platforms (On24 strongly preferred).
  • Ability to create and edit assets in Canva.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Excellent organization and project management capabilities.
  • Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, social advertising experience, intermediate Excel skills, marketing copywriting.
