Our client is a provider of high-quality public media through diverse programming, trusted news, acclaimed documentaries, and community-focused educational services across TV and digital platforms. The Customer Service Representative will assist with frontline customer service to members, viewers, and listeners, ensuring positive engagement and support.

This is a full-time position based in Arlington, Virginia, paying $21 per hour. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service inquiries via email, providing professional, clear, and concise responses.
• Help maintain and update member information, support fundraising programs, and assist with community engagement.
• Improve response times and resolve issues promptly, contributing to donor retention and increased involvement.
• Manage email correspondence related to magazine and membership services.
• Support team efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement, working both in-office and remotely.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• 1+ years of proven administrative or customer service experience.
• Strong typing and written communication skills, especially in a professional tone.
• Database/data entry experience preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to respond promptly to emails and resolve member issues efficiently.
• Access to high-speed internet for remote work.
