Employment Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Support Specialist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Manassas, VA. This role supports front- and back-office operations by managing timecards, pay and bill rate verification, payroll compliance, and SOW payment tracking. The position also provides administrative and compliance support for employees in California and Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
- Verify meal break compliance for non-exempt employees in CA and MN weekly.
- Process weekly timecard submissions for select clients, requesting approvals as needed.
- Monitor pending hours in VMS and BTE systems, verifying and requesting approval.
- Track and verify SOW payments and deliverables on scheduled timelines.
- Submit miscellaneous invoices into VMS system and coordinate with payroll.
- Verify and follow up on client timesheets, including split hours and missing reports.
- Monitor pending expense approvals and validate termination dates.
- Notify employees and clients of 401K enrollments and billing.
- Verify hours worked, hours not worked, and contractor end dates.
- Assist with address changes and employment verification requests.
- Review compliance checks, including tax forms, exemption status, rate accuracy, and job descriptions.
- Perform other related duties as required in a professional office environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- At least 2 years of experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and ethical practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
