Our client is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Contractor, Product Marketing Manager will support integrated marketing campaigns and digital strategy for a prominent science publication.
This is a full-time, contract position based in Washington, DC, paying $69–$79 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns and product launches
- Support brand updates and messaging alignment across digital channels
- Create, refine, and test copy for email, social media, and digital advertising
- Analyze key performance metrics and prepare actionable insights and reports
- Maintain marketing dashboards, campaign documentation, and reporting systems
- Contribute ideas and research to support audience growth and engagement strategies
- Support conference and event marketing efforts, including promotion and post-event follow-up
- Assist with booth support and event activations, with potential for limited on-site support as needed
Qualifications
- 4-7 years in product, brand, or digital marketing
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Experience with marketing analytics tools or CRM systems (preferred)
- Willingness to support occasional on-site conference activities
- Event/trade show marketing experience is desired
