Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The role involves supporting business analysis functions within the mortgage industry to facilitate technical and process-driven improvements. This is a fully onsite contract-based position in McLean, VA, paying $60.00 per hour. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business analyst interfacing between business and technical teams
• Gather and analyze requirements for mortgage-related projects
• Design process and data flows, technical specifications, and project objectives
• Support development, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Create and document UAT test strategies, plans, and test cases/scripts
• Support manual and automation testing efforts
• Provide excellent communication and analytical support throughout project lifecycles

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience in testing and automation
• Background in business analysis within the mortgage industry
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and project feasibility analysis
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
