Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. They are seeking a Communications Specialist to support enterprise and divisional initiatives through clear, accurate communications and practical change enablement content. This is a full-time, contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $40.00-$44.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders
• Support change and adoption efforts through messaging and enablement content
• Research, evaluate, and summarize complex information with accuracy
• Support internal communication strategies and content updates
• Utilize intermediate to advanced SharePoint skills and basic video editing capabilities
• Perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-visibility, high-expectations environment

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Experience drafting/developing business communications and creating/updating job aids
• Change management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• No specific technical writing background required
