Our client is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. They are seeking a Grants Administrator supporting the Student Experiences Office within their Education Division with a focus on providing scholarships and funding for educational programs across the country. The role involves administrative, data management, and payment processing support for key programs, ensuring accurate disbursement of grant funds and maintaining high-quality program data. This is a remote contract position paying $34-$38 per hour. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the secure processing and disbursement of award funds, reviewing account information, and communicating with internal and external partners to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Collect, verify, and enter sensitive financial and institutional information, including W-9s, ACH forms, and account details, adhering to strict privacy, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Process, enter, and maintain accurate data in production systems, ensuring data integrity across platforms.
  • Support the migration, organization, and quality-checking of historical program data.
  • Archive, manage, and update reports, documents, and program records to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Track program data and prepare reports, summaries, dashboards, and data extracts for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized digital records related to applications, resumes, correspondence, and review processes.
  • Attend team meetings, provide updates, and maintain accurate meeting notes and follow-up documentation.
  • Support development, monitoring, and coordination of project timelines, deliverables, and workflow processes for Student Experiences programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience entering, validating, and securely handling banking, accounting, and payment information with high attention to detail.
  • Strong digital competency in data entry, data management, and survey creation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, accuracy, and teamwork skills.
  • Technical knowledge of Peoplesoft, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, grant management platforms, Salesforce, Qualtrics, and data analytics tools is desired.
