Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Communications Specialist will develop and implement clear, impactful communications and change management support for enterprise and divisional initiatives, translating complex technology and business topics into concise and usable content to facilitate understanding and adoption.

This is a full-time position based in McLean, VA, paying $40–$44 per hour. This is a contract position with the opportunity to convert to permanent employment, but this is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Create and update business communications, including drafting and editing content
• Support change management initiatives through messaging and enablement content
• Develop and maintain job aids and other process documents
• Collaborate with operational teams to coordinate logistics and ensure effective communication efforts
• Research and evaluate complex information to produce accurate and concise content
• Support enterprise initiatives with high-visibility internal communications

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills with proven experience in internal or external communication
• Experience drafting and developing professional business content
• Change management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint
• Basic video editing capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong operational coordination and logistics skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
