Our client is a leader in managing commercial and residential properties throughout the Northern Virginia region. The IT Support Specialist will provide technical support and systems management to ensure seamless operations across property portfolios. This is an onsite, full-time, contract based position in Fairfax, VA, paying $45.00-$50.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 cloud environment including Teams, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Manage Entra ID/Active Directory accounts and user provisioning.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across PCs, mobile devices, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Configure IT devices for secure operation and maintain inventory of IT assets.
  • Support VOIP telephony and network troubleshooting, escalating issues to vendors as needed.
  • Maintain Cisco Webex Control Hub user data.
  • Use ticketing systems like ServiceNow to assist users and manage requests.
  • Produce training documentation and deliver end-user training.
  • Support Yardi platform, including serving as escalation point for high-priority issues and providing user support.
  • Collaborate with business units to align systems with operational needs.
  • Document and monitor help desk performance, troubleshoot platform issues, and stay updated on new features.
  • Assist with property onboarding, product setup, and implementation processes.
  • Support workstations and software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and organizational applications.
  • Assist with system configuration to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Travel to remote properties in Northern Virginia for onsite support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support.
  • Knowledge of current network technologies, including Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience with Yardi user provisioning and application support.
  • Support experience with workstations and organizational software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Capable of supporting network, server, and VOIP telephony systems.
  • Willingness to be onsite for support and travel to remote properties.
