Our client is a trusted utility and energy provider delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions to homes and businesses. The Construction Administrator will support data management, payment processing, and documentation review to facilitate construction, paving, invoicing, and permitting activities. This is a hybrid position based in Springfield, VA, paying $28–$30 per hour. This is a full-time, hybrid contract position.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and QC work requests in work management systems related to construction, replacement, maintenance, and paving projects.
  • Verify pay items and approve invoices against documentation received from contractors.
  • Enter and update data within work management systems, including work request creation, as-builts, and processing of related documents.
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in construction, paving, invoicing, design, and permitting processes.
  • Research and interpret construction documentation, drawings, maps, and service records to support project reporting and process improvements.
  • Scan, attach, and organize documentation within company systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and closing out work requests, performing corrective actions as directed.
  • Attend meetings, including off-site, to facilitate documentation and project close-out processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with data management and process verification in a utility or energy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing construction and paving documentation.
  • Technical skills in working with work management systems or similar platforms.
  • Certification or training related to utility operations or project management is a plus.
