Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Project Manager will manage Enterprise Operationally Critical Third Parties (EOCTP) and Enterprise Vulnerability Incident Management (VIM) programs, driving risk-focused outcomes through deliverable execution and clear reporting that supports leadership decision-making.
This is a Full-time, Contract position based in McLean, VA, paying $53.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Governance Advisor to drive the execution of EOCTP and VIM programs, ensuring program deliverables stay on track.
- Help ensure divisions comply with internal guidance for managing risk associated with critical third parties and responding to crises involving third parties.
- Project manage a data management platform that supports EOCTP and VIM program needs.
- Launch and review assessments to identify potential risks, including operational, financial, legal/compliance, reputational, and lifecycle risks.
- Synthesize complex data into detailed, succinct reporting to inform leadership decisions and executive-level understanding.
- Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly third-party metrics dashboards and the Vulnerability Incident Management tracker.
- Analyze Enterprise data to independently extract KRIs and KPIs, summarizing results clearly for stakeholders.
- Aggregate Enterprise data for periodic and ad hoc reporting, including metric reporting as requested.
- Document and track vulnerability incidents and associated control evidence.
- Independently analyze program requirements to propose solutions, and identify impacts, risks, and issues.
- Establish and maintain strong functional relationships with Enterprise partners and stakeholders to support project execution.
- Facilitate meetings, forums, and follow-ups with stakeholders to achieve project management goals.
- Support program processes within the system using One Trust to enable workflows and subprocesses.
- Create and maintain communications, guidance, procedures, job aids, PowerPoint decks, questionnaire templates, and other reporting documents.
- Follow, analyze, and document relevant EOCTP and cyber/information security news and third-party risk management trends.
Qualifications
- Required: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager with demonstrated deliverable ownership and strong multi-tasking/time management.
- Required: Solid experience in risk management or third-party risk management (preferably in financial services) and familiarity with third-party risk assessment and monitoring.
- Required: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel proficiency, plus strong professional writing and communication.
- Preferred: Experience developing risk reporting such as incident summaries, dashboards, and governance-oriented metrics (KRIs/KPIs).
- Technical skills/certifications: Proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI and SharePoint; interest or background in information security/cyber incident management; knowledge of third-party risk management frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
