Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Project Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and completion of complex multi-discipline administrative activities tied to corporate projects, including report preparation, data analysis, and records maintenance. This is a Full-time, Contract position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $34.60 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and complete complex administrative activities for corporate projects, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Prepare reports, perform data analysis, and maintain organized project records and documentation.
- Coordinate scheduling and support contract/work schedule administration across multiple project phases.
- Assist with monitoring and controlling project activity to support budget tracking and effective execution.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Required: One (1) year of experience scheduling and coordinating projects in a transit or maintenance environment, including monitoring/controlling contract phases, work schedule administration, and managing budgets.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of experience in a corporate environment providing executive support.
- Strong communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and strong customer service mindset with broad public contact.
- Experience: Demonstrated support for high-profile municipal projects serving local jurisdictions.
