Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Community Engagement Specialist will assist with engaging customers to register them for reduced fare programs and accurately input data into company systems, supporting community outreach and customer service initiatives.

This is a part-time position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $18.00 per hour. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input customer data into company systems to ensure information integrity and confidentiality.
• Engage with customers at various events and locations throughout the DC, MD, and Northern VA regions.
• Provide professional and timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Attend both indoor and outdoor events to assist with customer registration efforts.
• Maintain data accuracy and handle customer information with care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with data entry or customer service preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work at various events across outdoor and indoor settings.
