Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. They are seeking an  Senior Salesforce Administrator will own Salesforce governance, configuration, and continuous improvement while ensuring data integrity, system reliability, and strong risk-aware change management.

This is a Full-time, Contract-to-hire position based in McLean, VA, paying $56 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Salesforce administration, including configuration, user access management, and data integrity
  • Evaluate and execute change requests with strong due diligence, risk awareness, and adherence to governance/security standards
  • Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Translate complex business requirements into Salesforce configurations and enhancements
  • Support Agile delivery by participating in sprint ceremonies and providing POD support for Salesforce-related work
  • Perform data analysis to assess impacts of platform changes and migrations
  • Support data mapping, transformation analysis, reconciliation, and data load activities
  • Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual effort and improve platform efficiency
  • Execute recurring platform maintenance activities (e.g., permission reviews, scheduled data loads, reconciliations)
  • Monitor platform events, flag anomalies, and escalate issues as needed
  • Support deployments and assist with UAT validation when required
  • Produce and maintain metrics and reporting dashboards related to platform health and usage

Qualifications

  • Hands-on, enterprise experience as a Salesforce Administrator (beyond general familiarity)
  • Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge (objects, validation rules, workflows, permissions) and third-party app integration experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with data analysis, data mapping, and cross-system data reconciliation
  • Salesforce certifications preferred
