Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Accounts Payable Analyst will review and approve invoice control group transactions, assist with vendor master data validation, and support accounts payable processes to ensure accurate and efficient payment operations. This is a onsite, full time position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $42.09 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve invoice control groups to ensure accuracy
• Assist in researching, validating, and updating vendor master data such as TINs and other critical fields
• Correspond with vendors to obtain missing or required vendor information
• Review, approve, and document end-to-end invoice processing, including OCR corrections and adjustments
• Support additional accounts payable tasks as needed to meet organizational requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of accounts payable or related experience, experience can be valued over degree
• Strong data entry skills for corrections and adjustments
• Experience with invoice reconciliation and vendor data validation

Preferred qualification

• Experience with OCR processing and invoice management systems

Technical skills or certifications

• Proficiency in accounts payable software and MS Office tools
