Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist will be heavily engaged with customers to register them for reduced fare programs and provide excellent customer service. This is a part-time, contract position based in Alexandria, VA, paying $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to register them for reduced fare programs
• Accurately input data into company systems to ensure customer information is correctly recorded and maintained
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
• Carefully proof work to ensure the accuracy of all information
• Work at various locations, including indoors and outdoors, depending on event requirements

Qualifications

• Required: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Preferred: Experience in customer service or community engagement roles
• Technical skills: Data entry and management, strong communication
