Our client is a professional organization seeking dependable support to help maintain efficient day-to-day operations. The Program Manager, Latin America will lead regional efforts to expand market presence, strengthen member engagement, and support chapter growth across key Latin American countries. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in Washington, DC, with a pay range of $43–$46 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Execute regional growth and engagement strategies supporting member acquisition and retention across Latin America.
  • Conduct market research and analyze insights to inform regional initiatives and identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local chapters, volunteer leaders, and external partners.
  • Support planning and delivery of regional events and programs.
  • Coordinate logistics and stakeholder communication for successful event execution.
  • Support partnership development with universities, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide insights and reports based on program performance and market feedback.
Required qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, membership organizations, or international market engagement.
  • Experience working in or with Latin American markets, with strong preference for Brazil and Mexico.
  • Proficiency in Spanish; Portuguese strongly preferred.
Preferred qualification
  • Background in scientific, academic, nonprofit, or professional membership organizations.
  • Experience supporting membership growth, engagement, or retention initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across countries and stakeholders.
Technical skills or certifications
  • Data-informed mindset with experience tracking and reporting performance metrics.
