Our client is a privately held real estate organization located in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Junior Insurance Analyst role will support its Risk Management Department in administering insurance programs and ensuring compliance through managing insurance-related reports. This is a direct hire full time position, onsite, based in Fairfax, VA, offering a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Support the Risk Management Department in administering insurance programs.
- Manage and prepare insurance-related reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with risk mitigation efforts related to property insurance and liability coverage.
- Coordinate communication with insurance providers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and certificates.
- Monitor insurance renewals and policy expiration dates.
- Assist in the evaluation of insurance coverage needs and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field.
- Previous experience or internship in insurance, risk management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Fairfax, VA.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting property and liability insurance programs.
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with insurance reporting tools or software.
- Insurance certification such as CRM (Certification in Risk Management) is a plus.
- Familiarity with real estate industry risk considerations.
