Our client is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the scientific community, recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Market Intelligence Analyst will lead the design, execution, and integration of quantitative and qualitative research to generate actionable insights that inform organizational strategy, innovation, and business decisions.

This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC, paying $43.00–$50.00 per hour. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a research roadmap aligned with organizational priorities.
• Partner with leaders across departments to identify critical business questions and research needs.
• Determine the most appropriate methodologies to address strategic challenges and opportunities.
• Establish research standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously while ensuring quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Business, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in research, insights, analytics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research.
• Experience managing end-to-end research projects and stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with survey and analytics tools (e.g., Qualtrics, R, SQL) and business intelligence/visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong stakeholder management, storytelling, and facilitation skills; proven ability to operate in a matrixed, multi-location environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in associations, academic publishing, STEM, or mission-driven organizations.
• Familiarity with qualitative tools (e.g., DoveTail, ListenLab, Natter.ai) and collaborative whiteboarding tools (e.g., Miro, Mural).
• Project management expertise covering scope, timelines, vendor contracts, and quality control.
