UAT Lead Analyst

Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The UAT Lead Analyst will coordinate user acceptance testing across business and product teams to validate solutions meet operational and quality expectations. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in McLean, VA, paying $52 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and product teams to plan and execute user acceptance testing for new functionality
  • Translate business process flows and scenarios into clear UAT test cases, scripts, validation checklists, and test data using standardized templates
  • Facilitate UAT walkthroughs, testing sessions, and readiness reviews to align participants on objectives, dependencies, and expected outcomes
  • Coordinate tester access, environment readiness, test data, job aids, and supporting documentation required for effective UAT execution
  • Track defects, blockers, risks, and open questions; ensure issues are documented, prioritized, assigned, and driven to resolution
  • Consolidate testing results, summarize trends, and communicate status, risks, and readiness concerns to stakeholders and leaders
  • Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes, documentation standards, and cross-team collaboration
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Experience in UAT, software testing, business analysis, product support, or a similar role
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, including handling conflicting feedback constructively
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including managing test activities, tracking progress, and documenting outcomes
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Preferred: familiarity with basic testing concepts (defect triage, test planning, execution coordination) and experience in mortgage or financial services environments
