Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable homeownership nationwide. The Junior Analyst position involves supporting risk management frameworks, processes, and regulatory compliance through technical solutions and stakeholder collaboration. This is a full-time, on-site position based in McLean, Virginia, paying $33 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply deep knowledge of risk management frameworks, processes, and regulatory expectations to inform solution design and delivery decisions.
  • Demonstrate strong fluency in risk management technologies, including GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow IRM or comparable solutions), workflow-based applications, and integrated reporting architectures.
  • Act as a thought partner to product and risk leadership by proactively recommending approaches for risk capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Contribute to defining target-state product visions and roadmaps, focusing on platform-level delivery rather than isolated projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve consistency, scalability, reusability, and automation of risk solutions, aligning with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, and maintain business and functional requirements in collaboration with business Subject Matter Advisors, product managers, and external suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, including process flows, specifications, wireframes, and data models.
  • Support impact assessments across systems, including third-party integrations and internal applications.
  • Define, coordinate, and execute user acceptance testing activities, including test planning, defect management, and validation.
  • Support data analysis activities, including critical data element identification, data mapping, and lineage.
  • Develop user training materials and support delivery of training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience required.  
  • Experience with Jira, as well as proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Studio, is required.
