Our client is a large enterprise organization supporting nationwide programs and complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. The Senior Program Manager drives strategic program planning, aligns stakeholders, and delivers clear executive reporting to support informed decisions. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in McLean, VA, paying $70 per hour.
Responsibilities
Partner with program leadership to provide strategic and operational support to senior executives
Lead strategic transformation initiatives across multiple programs, business functions, and technology teams
Facilitate requirements sessions and translate needs into actionable user stories, features, and delivery priorities
Collaborate with product, business, architecture, and development teams to ensure successful implementation of business needs
Support Agile planning activities including roadmap development, backlog refinement, dependency management, and milestone tracking
Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy and portfolio priorities
Create executive-level dashboards, status reports, presentations, and communications on program health, risks, milestones, and outcomes
Apply PMO best practices for governance, reporting, resource planning, risk management, issue tracking, and portfolio oversight
Qualifications
Experience supporting program leadership with strategic and operational program management
Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into user stories and delivery priorities
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including planning and backlog refinement
Strong ability to communicate complex workstreams as clear priorities, deliverables, risks, and outcomes for executive audiences
Experience developing executive dashboards, status reports, and presentations
Experience using SharePoint (preferred)
Understanding of multifamily data concepts (preferred)
